Minimally Invasive Interventions for Axial Back and Neck Pain in the Pediatric Population: A Systematic Review

Introduction: Axial spine pain is increasingly recognized in pediatric populations, especially among young athletes, yet treatment guidelines remain sparse. While nonoperative interventional approaches are well-established in adults, their role in children remains unclear due to safety concerns and limited data. This systematic review aims to evaluate the current evidence on minimally invasive axial spine interventions in pediatric patients, assess their effectiveness and safety, and identify knowledge gaps to guide future research and clinical practice.
