Introduction: Ketamine infusions are increasingly utilized for refractory neuropathic pain but are often limited by dissociative side effects and variable efficacy. Immersive virtual reality (VR) may augment analgesic response and improve the overall treatment experience, yet no published studies have assessed this approach in pain medicine. This pilot study evaluated the feasibility, safety, and preliminary efficacy of combining VR with ketamine infusion therapy (KVR) in patients with chronic neuropathic pain.
