Introduction: With the growing number of wearable devices available, there's a rising opportunity to use them for detecting pain. Access to real-time physiological data enables patients to gainĀ of their bodies and provides physicians with valuable clinical insights. Wearables track vital signs, sleep patterns, temperature, and activity, among other metrics. All those biomarkers help standardize pain, especially in those unable to communicate it. This review examines how wearable devices can support pain diagnostics.
