Spinal cord stimulation (SCS) is an established treatment for refractory chronic pain with a favorable safety profile. Rare complications such as postoperative epidural hematoma can cause catastrophic neurological injury, requiring urgent recognition and decompression. We report a case of delayed epidural hematoma following SCS implantation that resulted in acute paraplegia.
