Patients with chronic migraines have a high prevalence of myofascial pain which may contribute to migraine attacks. Of these patients, many specify the masseter muscles as sources of myofascial pain. While OnabotulinumtoinA (BoTN/A) injections in the masseters have been studied in myofascial pain in temporomandibular disorders, they have not been studied in migraine. We aim to assess the role of masseter BoTN/A in patients with chronic migraine and masseter pain.
