Introduction: Cryoneurolysis is the application of cold temperatures to ablate nerve tissue, oftentimes to provide pain relief.1,2 Otalgia is ear pain that can be categorized as primary, occurring within the ear itself, or secondary, referred pain from another source such as auriculotemporal neuralgia.3 Here we present a case of a patient with right-sided otalgia suspected to be secondary to auriculotemporal neuralgia, treated successfully with cryoneurolysis.
