Introduction: Erythromelalgia is a rare neurovascular disorder causing episodes of burning pain, warmth, redness, and swelling in the distal extremities. Symptoms are typically triggered by heat or exertion and can significantly impact daily functioning. Management is more difficult in patients with autoimmune diseases, where standard treatments often fail. We describe a case of SLE-associated erythromelalgia successfully treated with a lumbar sympathetic block after multiple therapies proved ineffective.
