Twists and Triggers: Multimodal Pain Control in Stiff Person Syndrome and Ehlers-Danlos with Chronic Testicular Pain

Introduction: Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS) and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) present unique challenges when coexisting. We report a patient with both conditions and chronic testicular pain persisting after orchiectomy. He was treated with benzodiazepines, baclofen, opioids, ketamine infusions, and IVIG. SPS confirmed by anti-GAD antibodies and EMG; EDS by clinical findings. Treatment targeted muscle rigidity, immune modulation, and refractory pain. This case highlights the complexity of managing overlapping rare syndromes and the need for individualized, multidisciplinary care.
