Dr. Elmofty is an Associate Professor and the Associate Program Director for the pain fellowship at the University of Chicago. She is the chair of the Educational Track Committee on Pain Medicine for the American Society of Anesthesiology. She is a member for the Faculty Development and Newsletter committee for the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine. She is the president of the Midwest Pain Society. She has presented at local, regional, and national meetings. She has published peer revewied manuscripts and book chapters. .
