Dr Anitescu, Professor of Anesthesia is Section Chief of Pain Medicine Services and PD for the Pain Fellowship Program at the University of Chicago. Past President for both APPD and AASPD, she is the current NANS President-Elect. Author of more than 40 publications, textbooks and book chaoters she has been a distinguished educator for more than 20 years. She has been an invited speaker to many national/international meetings. Her research focuses on neuromodulation, as she conducts clinical trials on this topic, including use of the therapy for vascular changes in diabetes.
