Dr Carayannopoulos is dual board certified in PM&R and Pain, Professor of Neurosurgery & Neurology at Brown University, and Chief of PM&R at Brown University Health. He completed residency at Harvard and fellowship at Dartmouth. He is President of the Rhode Island Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, Director at Large of the Federation of State Medical Boards, Director at Large of the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners, and serves on the RI Boards of Medicine and Occupational Therapy. He is a 13-year decorated Navy Veteran, former submarine officer and diver.
