Learning Objectives:

Describe the anatomical basis and mechanisms of action of commonly used fascial plane blocks for relieving pain.
Identify appropriate patient selection criteria and indications for fascial plane blocks in perioperative and pain management settings.
Demonstrate proficiency in ultrasound-guided techniques for performing selected fascial plane blocks safely and effectively.
Recognize and manage complications and limitations associated with fascial plane block techniques.
