Stellate ganglion block (SGB) is widely used for complex regional pain and other sympathetically mediated disorders. Although considered safe, systemic complications ranging from hoarseness and hypertension to seizures, bradycardia and asystolic arrest have been reported. Type 2 myocardial infarction stems from oxygen supply–demand mismatch, and transient global amnesia is a sudden reversible anterograde amnesia lasting up to 24 hours. We report the first case of concurrent type 2 NSTEMI and TGA following SGB.
