Introduction: Robust reporting of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) lets clinicians judge the credibility of new pain interventions. The CONSORT 2010 statement and its patient‑reported outcome (PRO) extension list the details readers need to interpret PRO data.1 Epidural steroid injections (ESIs) remain one of the most common spine procedures, yet the adequacy of PRO reporting in ESI RCTs is unknown.3 We evaluated adherence to the Consolidated Standards of Reporting Trials, Patient-Reported Outcome extension (CONSORT‑PRO) in these trials.
