Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP) is an immune-mediated, progressive, symmetrical sensorimotor polyneuropathy lasting more than eight weeks. Chronic neuropathic pain can be a frequent and debilitating aspect of the disease that affects up to 39% of patients and can be associated with worse functional disability, depression, and worse sensory deficits. We describe a case of a patient with CIDP who achieved significant gains in pain relief and functional ambulation after Spinal Cord Stimulator (SCS) implantation.
