Pelvic cancers could result in severe pain not only due to the tumour infiltration of the surrounding structures but also due to the oncological treatments including surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. In the absence of metastasis to vital organs, patients could survive for several years and pain management could be challenging using only pharmacological treatments. Superior hypogastric plexus and ganglion impar blocks have been considered as the suitable interventional treatment for managing these pains.
