Upon completion, the participant will be able to integrate a structured, systems-based approach to the physical examination of patients with acute and chronic pain, emphasizing the musculoskeletal and neuromuscular assessments most relevant for pain medicine practice.
Upon completion, the participant will be able to differentiate pain generators by applying targeted examination techniques, including neurologic, myofascial, and joint-specific maneuvers, to enhance diagnostic accuracy and guide interventional and rehabilitative treatment planning.
Upon completion, the participant will be able to demonstrate best practices in performing and interpreting provocative examination maneuvers, integrating functional assessments, and patient-reported symptoms to develop a holistic and individualized management strategy.
